Complex astrological remedies can be compared to visiting a specialist, performing a surgery, and/or therapies for extended duration for certain conditions. 

Similarly, for an astrological condition, a complex remedy can be one or more of the following:

1. Visiting temples at a pre-determined date and time to perform certain pujas or
2. Perform homams conducted with able priests,
3. Repeat a combination of them as needed to take care of serious or chronic astrological conditions observed in the chart, and
4. In some cases, continue with simple remedies to repeat the complex remedies on a later date.
